LĪGATNE NATURE TRAILS 

Līgatne nature trails are located in well-equipped natural landscape in Territory of Gauja National Park. The Nature trails were founded in 1975 – with the goal to show the visitors how wide the nature of Latvija can be, by presenting different animal and plant species.

The Līgatne nature trails provide beautiful landscape filled with different kinds of biological phenomenon, which is supplemented with animal species that are common to come across in the natural environment of Latvija.

Walking trails are approximately 4-5 km long, divided by different difficulty levels (soil, grit trails, and wooden stair paths). To truly enjoy the trails you will have to be prapered for 2-3 hour walk

IT IS STRICTLY FORBBIDEN TO ENTER THE TRAILS WITH DOGS!

In order to eliminate COVID-19, there are relevant security measures in the Līgatne nature trails. Visitors are welcomed to buy trails tickets via www.bilesuserviss.lv, and show the purchased tickets to the workers of Līgatne nature trails.
